The culmination of over a year of hard work and training had led to this momentous moment: the first cohort of women from Sahara Partners’ business internship program was graduating.

Sahara Partners has been offering several new Community Health Programming classes this year as well as developing new training seminars and classes.

Sahara Partners has launched a new branch of our organization: English Educational Programming.

“Attempting to start a business in a refugee camp is feat, and these women are up for it!”

The goal of the internship is to help educate women in business literacy, to encourage and develop their confidence in starting a business, and to provide employment that can lead to savings towards start-up capital for their own future business endeavor.

In the fall of 2021, Sahara Partners officially started partnering with the local health clinics in the refugee resettlement camp where we serve.

Sahara Partners officially acquired a rental unit for our office which will also become the future home of our women’s training program.

The guiding principle behind the vision of Sahara Partners is “relationship-driven community development.”
